This document is an electronic record in terms of (i) Information Technology Act, 2000; (ii) the rules framed there under as applicable; and (iii) the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is published in accordance with: (i) Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and (ii) Regulation 4 of the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal information) Rules, 2011 (“SPI Rules”) and General Data Protection Regulation.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how Grenora assigns, uses and protects the data you provide. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) applies to the services provided by Grenora on its website www.grenora.in and/or mobile application under the brand Grenora (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Grenora”). We are a company registered under the laws of India, having registered office at 2nd & 3rd Floor, Privillion, East Wing, SG Highway, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380054, India This Privacy Policy applies to all Users (“Users”) of Grenora. This Privacy Policy covers: (i) the type of data collected from the Users of Grenora including sensitive personal data or data; (ii) the purpose, means and modes of usage of such data; and (iii) how and to whom such data which has been collected will be disclosed
1. WHAT DATA GRENORA COLLECTS FROM YOU
Grenora may collect two (2) types of data about you: Personal and Non-Personal.
1.1. Personal Data
Personal Data refers to data that lets Grenora know the specifics of who you are and which may be used to identify, contact or locate you (e.g. name, age, gender, mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address). Grenora may collect Personal Data when you use Grenora including, without limitation, setting up account data, making bookings of hotels, filling out surveys, corresponding with Grenora, or otherwise volunteering data about yourself.
1.2. Non-personal Data
Non-Personal Data refers to data that, by itself, does not identify you as a specific individual (e.g. demographic data or website visitations). Grenora may collect Non-Personal Data through any of the methods discussed above as well as automatically through use of industry standard technologies described further below.
2. HOW GRENORA COLLECTS YOUR DATA
Subject to clause 7, which provides additional rights to European Residents, the Personal Data practices set forth apply to all Grenora customers worldwide.
2.1. Registration
Prior to using one or more of the Grenora services, Grenora may require certain Personal Data and Non-Personal Data to create an individual account (“Account”) or to enable features or functionality of Grenora. Failure to provide all required data may prevent access to any or all Grenora services.
2.2 Data Collected Through Technology
While you are able to visit Grenora and remain anonymous, Grenora or its third-party service providers may still collect Non-Personal Data about your use of Grenora (e.g. browser type, operating system, IP address, and connection speed).
a) Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your device. Not accepting cookies may make certain features of Grenora unavailable.
b) IP Address
Grenora may collect IP addresses automatically when you access the website.
c) Web Beacons
Grenora may use web beacons in emails to determine whether messages were opened or links clicked.
d) Tracking Content Usage
Grenora tracks Non-Personal Data associated with User accounts and posted content usage.
3. HOW GRENORA USES YOUR INFORMATION
Grenora uses the collected data to operate, maintain, enhance, and provide its services.
In the event that all resources of Grenora are acquired by another company, the personal data required to continue operations shall be transferred to the acquiring entity.
3.1. System Administration
Grenora may use Non-Personal Data for system diagnostics and performance monitoring.
3.2. Personalization
Grenora uses cookies and IP addresses to personalize content and services.
3.3. Notices to Registered Users
Grenora may send account-related emails including confirmations and service notices.
3.4. Promotional E-mails
Grenora may send promotional emails. You may opt out by emailing info@grenora.in.
3.5. Contact Data
Grenora may retain records of correspondence for service improvement and issue resolution.
4. HOW TO ACCESS AND CHANGE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Users may request updates, corrections, or deletion of Personal Data by contacting info@grenora.in. Certain residual data may remain in backups.
5. DISCLOSURE OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
Grenora does not sell or rent Personal Data. Data may be disclosed to comply with legal obligations or law enforcement requests.
6. SAFEGUARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
6.1 Security Measures
Grenora employs technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Data.
Customer data may be transferred and stored outside the EEA where necessary for service delivery.
6.2 Third Party Links
Grenora is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites linked through its platform.
7. EU DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
EU residents have rights including access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection. Requests may be submitted to info@grenora.in.
8. CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
Grenora may update this Privacy Policy from time to time without reducing the level of data protection.
9. SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS OF AGE
Grenora does not knowingly collect data from minors. Parents may request deletion of a minor’s data via info@grenora.in.
